What time is it? It appears that Kate Middleton is officially on vacation, so for her, it’s summertime. After getting a standing ovation after her Wimbledon appearance, Middleton is currently on “summer break” and will be temporarily ceasing her public appearances, according to royal sources.
Royal sources told Vanity Fair that Middleton and her husband, Prince William, intend to remain “below the radar” at their Norfolk home while she continues her preventative chemotherapy now that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are not in school. The family will not be going overseas, according to other insiders, although they do have plans to see King Charles and Queen Camilla in August in Balmoral in Scotland.
According to the site, Middleton won’t probably make another public appearance until later in the year after attending Wimbledon.
Middleton participated in her second event of the year at the renowned tennis tournament; she has remained quiet due to her cancer treatment. Middleton returned to her royal duties in June, joining her husband and their three children for the 2024 Trooping the Colour.
According to Us Weekly, the pair has apparently benefited greatly from their time away from the spotlight, as they have reportedly become “closer than ever” in recent months. Additionally, a source told OK! that Middleton is “truly moved” by Prince William’s actions as a husband and father supporting her throughout her medical treatment.
“He’s shouldered a lot of the responsibilities, and, what’s more, he seems to be having fun doing it,” according to one insider. “Kate has seen the change, and she’s genuinely touched by all that he’s doing, not just for her, but for the children.”
