Following the devastating Olympic final defeat by the Serb, Carlos Alcaraz, the spouse of Novak Djokovic, has a special message for Carlos

Carlos Alcaraz, who had to settle for silver at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, is still determined to capture the gold medal.

Carlos Alcaraz won the silver medal in singles at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, and his wife, Jelena, has commended him on his dedication and hard work. On Sunday, August 4, the Spaniard defeated to Novak Djokovic in the championship match, 7-6(3), 7-6(2).

Alcaraz was the overwhelming favorite to win the gold medal in the Summer Games after victories at the French Open and Wimbledon. During the Games, he was playing at his best, going undefeated in all of his matches and reaching the final. The Djokovic he faced at the top match, though, was a completely different player from the one he had defeated in straight sets at the All England Club the previous month.

Djokovic played outstanding defense and struck every ball with depth and penetration. As Alcaraz settled into a groove, he stepped up the tempo and blasted with a devastating forehand. The four-time Grand Slam champion was inconsolable after the defeat since he was unable to bring home the gold for his nation. He prevailed in the two tiebreaks to secure the title.

Alcaraz, who won the silver medal for Spain, was comforted by a number of spectators and athletes. Using social media, Jelena Djokovic praised the Spaniard for his dedication and hard work and hoped him great things in the future.

Carlos and his group have a remarkable future ahead of them. What a gifted, diligent, and enthusiastic young guy he is!with enormous esteem.

After completing a Golden Slam (winning the four major titles and the gold medal at the Olympics), Djokovic will carry on the festivities with friends and family. Without dropping a set, he became the oldest player to win the gold medal in the Olympic singles competition.
