Hulk Hogan believes Lions head coach Dan Campbell might have chosen the wrong career path

On Thursday, Hulk Hogan made an appearance at the Lions’ training camp and shared his thoughts on head coach Dan Campbell.

The Detroit Lions’ training camp was bustling on Thursday. Not only were former NFL offensive lineman and Michigan alum Taylor Lewan and the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast crew present, but boxing champion and Flint native Claressa Shields also made an appearance.

However, the highlight was undoubtedly the presence of former pro wrestler Hulk Hogan. He was there to promote his new beverage, Real American Beer, while sporting a Honolulu Blue bandana.

After practice, Hogan met with head coach Dan Campbell, and the two filmed a Lions-themed promo.

Hulk Hogan thinks Dan Campbell missed his true calling Despite Hogan’s age, it’s striking to see how much larger Campbell is compared to him.

Speaking with reporters, including John Maakaron from SI.com, Hogan mentioned that Campbell could have had a career in wrestling and suggested his nickname should be “Dirty Dan.”

A significant moment in Hogan’s wrestling career, and in WWF/WWE history, took place in the Detroit area at WrestleMania III, held at the Pontiac Silverdome. Hogan famously body-slammed Andre The Giant in front of 94,000 spectators.

In an interview with Nolan Bianchi of the Detroit News, Hogan discussed the importance of that event and the potential for WrestleMania to return to Detroit.
