Aaron Rodgers of the Jets vows he “will rise yet again” in his first remarks following a season-ending injury

NJ’S FLORHAM PARK (AP) – The season of Aaron Rodgers is done. He doesn’t seem to be quite ready to call this a career.

The quarterback for the New York Jets posted on Instagram on Wednesday night, saying, “The night is darkest before the dawn.” “And I will rise once more.”

With a torn left Achilles tendon, which he sustained on the fourth snap of his Monday night debut with his new team, Rodgers will miss the whole season. The 39-year-old quarterback has not made any public remarks since suffering the injury during the Jets’ 22-16 overtime victory over Buffalo in the season opener.

Rodgers added, “I want to thank everyone who has reached out, called, texted, DM’d, connected through a friend, etc.” It means a lot to me, and I will make an effort to respond to everyone.
