As the Brazilian continues to shine while on loan at Real Betis, Antony’s candid assessment of Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has been made public.

The out-of-form attacker was temporarily acquired by La Liga team Betis after the new Amorim administration at Old Trafford sacked the winger, who had commanded a price tag of £85 million.

Antony’s candid assessment of Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, has been made public as the Brazilian star remains on loan at Real Betis.

La Liga team Betis temporarily acquired the out-of-form attacker after the winger, who previously commanded £85 million, was sacked by the new Amorim administration at Old Trafford and flogged in January.

By scoring two goals in his first three games and winning Man of the Match on his debut, Antony has started to show why United invested out money on him in Spain in 2021.

However, the CEO of Betis has indicated interest in making his transfer permanent in the summer, so United may need to ward off interest if they hope to add Antony to their 2025–2026 campaign.

Ramon Alarcon, the CEO of Betis, stated that Antony might remain with his team after the current season is over in an interview with Cadena Ser’s Radio Sevilla.

When asked if he thought the transfer would become permanent in the summer, he replied, “I think so.”

“The CEO of United called me the other day,” Alarcon continued. To show them that we are taking care of their asset, we emailed them all of the player’s moves and information during the week.

“The player and Manchester [United] have excellent chemistry.” He might continue in the upcoming season, so why not?

Pedroso reaffirmed that there is no obligation to buy clause in Antony’s loan agreement, so if Betis wants to acquire Antony permanently, they will need to bargain with United over a transfer fee.

Even though United paid a high price to get him, the team may benefit from a permanent departure as they try to recover some of their original investment.
