The Penrith Panthers are happy to announce that Mitch Kenny has extended his contract with the team for a further three years.
The 26-year-old hooker will stay with the Panthers through at least the conclusion of the 2027 campaign thanks to the new contract.
Kenny remarked, “I’m excited to dedicate myself to the Panthers because this place is home to me.”
“I’m thrilled to return the favor to Ivan Cleary and the entire team, who have believed in me from the start.
“I’m thrilled to have the chance to represent our community and wear the Panthers jersey for three more seasons.”
Kenny, a local kid who came up through the Panthers’ pathways program, made his debut in 2019 and has since played 86 NRL games for the team, winning two premierships.
Rugby League General Manager Shane Elford of the Panthers said, “On behalf of everyone at Panthers, we are thrilled to see Mitch remain with the club for a further three seasons.”
“Mitch’s bravery, tenacity, and devotion to his team demonstrate the fundamental values we hold dear at our club.”
