Dak Prescott has no problem playing for a different team.
Throughout the offseason, one of the clubs that has generated the most conversation is the Dallas Cowboys. That is what happens when you are America’s Team and your owner Jerry Jones says things that make news all the time.
Jones mentioned that the organization was supposed to go “all-in,” but that did not happen. None of their stars, including quarterback Dak Prescott, were extended.
Prescott and the organization came to an agreement not to change his contract before the 2024 campaign.
As training camp approaches, Prescott disclosed that he had considered pursuing a career outside of Dallas.

Cowboys News: There is No Fear about the Future for Dak Prescott
Prescott declared, “I will admit it. I wish I could be here, but if you look up, all of the amazing quarterbacks I have witnessed were on other clubs. There is nothing to be afraid about. I might eventually be able to do that. Maybe it was not my choice.”
You would not want to hear this news as a fan. Despite not being one of the league’s top three signal callers, Prescott is still a highly productive playmaker. Without a doubt, he is a Top 10 quarterback.
With a 73-41 record, he has started for Dallas for the previous eight seasons. He had an incredible season the previous year, setting career highs in passing yards (4,516), completion % (69.5), completions (410), and passing touchdowns (36).
The three-time Pro Bowl quarterback is expected to go undrafted in March as the quarterback market continues to expand.
At $55 million a year, Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence are currently tied for first place in the league. Prescott, should Dallas decide not to extend him, will undoubtedly smash that total as a free agency. He may make as much as $60 million annually.
All-time greats like Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady have dressed up for several teams.
Any quarterback could do so if those men swapped teams. Prescott might be the next person in line.
