Aston Villa have registered their interest in Juventus star winger Samuel Iling-Junior, sources have told Football Insider.

The 20-year-old is also a prominent target for Tottenham ahead of the January transfer window, with Ange Postecoglou’s side reportedly in talks over a possible trade.

Villa have now requested details on the Chelsea academy graduate ahead of the January transfer window.

Iling-Junior is said to be interested in a move next year and might leave Juventus as early as January.

A reliable source has told Football Insider that the Serie A heavyweights are set to accept a deal of approximately £17 million.

Iling-Junior has appeared in six league games this season, totaling 129 minutes of action, but has yet to start for Juventus in the 2023-24 season.

The London-born striker left Chelsea for Turin in 2020 and has played 24 senior games for the Old Lady, scoring once and assisting three times.

Iling Junior, a left-footer, earned his England Under-21 debut in September and has since played three times for the Young Lions.

Spurs are also interested in bringing in new attacking players due to multiple critical injuries in Postecoglou’s team.

Villa are second in the Premier League after a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United on Friday (22 December), but Tottenham can climb into the top four when they play Everton on Saturday (23 December).
