former aston villa star who left his boyhood club in the summer in a £100 million trade to Manchester City, has also indicated that if he scores against Villa on Wednesday night, he will not celebrate.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the 26-year-old, who joined Villa as a six-year-old, claimed he will always love the club and will cheer ‘all four sides’ of Villa Park on his return.

“I knew some people would be upset when I left, and I can understand why some were, but I gave my all to the club every year I was there.” “I’m not going to celebrate if I score,” he remarked.

“You have no idea how difficult it was for me to leave,” Grealish added. “I went for a morning run, a bunch of people took pictures of me, and it was all on social [media] that I was staying.”
