Steph Curry has to go away  from Warriors, says analyst amid Draymond Green’s scandal

The Golden State Warriors are having a difficult season, as they suffered their sixth consecutive loss on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns. With a 10-13 record, the team’s title hopes are dwindling, and Draymond Green’s recent ban has exacerbated their woes. ESPN commentator Kendrick Perkins has even suggested that Steph Curry should join another team.

Green was ejected from their recent game against the Suns for throwing a wild forearm at Jusuf Nurkic. This was his third ejection of the season, and he is largely expected to face another suspension from the league. The NBA has already cautioned Green about his on-court antics, and it appears that additional disciplinary action will be taken.

While Curry is unquestionably the Warriors’ top player, he needs on Green’s talents to succeed. Green has been an integral part of Curry’s championship winning teams, and his absence would surely have an influence on the team’s success. However, Perkins believes Curry should be emancipated from his current circumstances.

Curry has been the Warriors’ standout performance in the 2023-24 season. In 21 games, he averages 29.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 5.1 three-pointers. His highest-scoring game was against the New Orleans Pelicans, where he had 42 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and six three-pointers. Curry missed two games, resulting in back-to-back losses for the team.
