On Friday night, the Chicago Bulls fell 131-140 to the visiting Golden State Warriors after trailing by 13 points at halftime. The Bulls looked crisp in the first half and appeared to be on their way to a fourth consecutive win when they led 75-62 at halftime.

Chicago’s outstanding first-half performance was capped by a 45-point explosion in the second session, which helped the team set a season high for first-half scoring.

In the third period, the Bulls struggled to score points. Chicago scored only 20 points in the third quarter, allowing Golden State to score 48. After leading by 13 at halftime, the Bulls were unexpectedly down by 15 entering the payoff period, 95-110.

The Bulls attempted to rally in the fourth, with Coby White’s layup bringing them within 124-128 with 2:57 remaining. DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 39 points, followed by Zach LaVine and White, who each scored 25. Nikola Vucevic scored 14 for the Bulls, who fell to 18-22.
