Giants' Justin Hilliard suspended for violating NFL PED policyJustin Hilliard of the New York Giants has been suspended without pay for the first two games of the 2022 regular season for violating the NFL’s Policy on Performance-Enhancing Substances.

Hilliard is eligible to take part in all preseason workouts and games. He will be able to return to the Giants’ active roster on Monday, September 19, following the team’s Week 2 game against Carolina.

Ryan Anderson, a New York Giants linebacker, has been suspended without pay for the first six games of the regular season for violating the NFL’s Policy and Program on Performance Enhancing Substances.

Anderson will be eligible to play in Sunday’s preseason finale against the New England Patriots.

Anderson spent four seasons as a reserve linebacker with the Washington Football Team before joining the Giants as a free agency this offseason.Giants' Justin Hilliard suspended for violating NFL PED policy

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a quiet training camp and preseason. He started training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and has rarely been recognized since getting off. Anderson has three tackles, a half-sack, and a quarterback hit through two preseason games.

Anderson appeared to be on the roster bubble before the suspension was issued. We’ll see if the Giants like him enough to keep him during his six-game ban, or if he’ll be one of the players released as the Giants cut their roster to 53 before the deadline of 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

If the Giants maintain Anderson, he will be eligible for activation for the Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams on October 18.
