Dallas cowboys has sign 3 key players

Syndication: The EnquirerThe new NFL league year will begin on March 13, 2024, in less than a month. We are on the verge of player movement, with free agency, trades, and much more. With the start of a new NFL season, it is expected that the Dallas Cowboys’ ownership will change their ways. Revision of the team in what fans hope would be a “all-in” season has already begun. Mike Zimmer has been named the new defensive coordinator, while Jeff Zgonina and Paul Guenther will join the Cowboys’ defensive staff.

Not only does the defensive side of the ball need to alter. The offensive also requires an influx of talent. If the Cowboys are to be taken seriously, they must sign proven players and big names who will instill hope in the fan base. Here’s an early look at potential offensive trade possibilities for the Cowboys.

Adding Mixon creates a win-win situation for all sides. Tony Pollard and Rico Dowdle are scheduled to reach free agency, thus the Cowboys need to fill their running back position. Also, while it’s a wonderful narrative, Deuce Vaughn appears to be far from ready to take over as the Cowboys’ starting running back. Last year, there were indications that Mixon was on the verge of leaving Cincinnati, but Mixon and the organization reached an agreement to renegotiate his contract.

Mixon will enter the last year of his contract in 2024, with a cap charge of $8.5 million, which is lower than Pollard’s franchise tag last season. Mixon has no guaranteed money on his contract and poses no financial risk to the Cowboys if things don’t work out right away. Chase Brown, the Bengals’ excellent runner behind Mixon, has upside and is poised to receive considerable playing time in his sophomore season.Syndication: The Enquirer

Mixon is in his eighth NFL season and a couple years off from a Pro Bowl season in 2021, when he carried for a career-high 1,205 yards, but he still has some tread on the tire. Mixon can contribute in all three phases as a running back, which should help a seasoned team like Dallas improve their backfield. Given that the Bengals were willing to part ways with Mixon last season, the Cowboys may be able to acquire him for a Day 3 pick. Consider the Cowboys adding Mixon and then selecting a Day 2 runner such as Michigan’s Blake Corum.

This is a two-for-one special. The Cowboys could get either of these receivers and be satisfied. Both receivers have similar styles in that they can serve as possession receivers over the middle while also making challenged third-down catches. Renfrow set career lows in all major statistics despite playing only 35% of offensive snaps due to falling out of favor with the Raiders’ coaching staff. Renfrow’s situation remained unchanged even after Antonio Pierce was named interim coach. Renfrow’s contract for next season is $13.7 million, but you’d have to think the Raiders would be willing to swallow some of that cost to facilitate a deal. The Cowboys and Raiders have regularly worked out arrangements in the past, and the two parties agreed wouldn’t
