DIEGO JOTA WILL RETURN BEFORE THE CARABOA FINALS.

Injury DISASTER for Liverpool! Diogo Jota appears to suffer serious knee issue as Curtis Jones also limps out of chaotic Brentford game to force Mohamed Salah into early return | Goal.comLiverpool attacker Diogo Jota will be out for a few months after sustaining knee ligament damage in Saturday’s win over Brentford, according to reports. Jota was stretchered off just before halftime after colliding with Bees captain Christian Norgaard, who fell on his leg during an aerial challenge.

Liverpool has had its fair share of injury issues this season, with Jota poised to join Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dominik Szoboszlai on the treatment table. According to Portuguese source Record, Jota will be absent for ‘about two months’ due to cruciate ligament injury discovered during first scans on Sunday.

Jota will miss the next Carabao Cup final, eight Premier League games, and the Europa League round of 16, due to a two-month layoff. He will reportedly miss next month’s match against title rivals Manchester City, as well as Liverpool’s trip to Manchester United in early April.Injury DISASTER for Liverpool! However, the injury does not look to be significant enough to keep him out for the remainder of the season, and the ‘worst case scenario’ has been ruled out. Liverpool will be hopeful that Jota avoids any setbacks in his recuperation so that he can be ready for the Premier League’s final stretch.
