If West Ham reporter’s new claim is true then David Moyes should be sacked tonight

David Moyes admits Celtic face 'elite' Champions League truth as he sides with Ally McCoist's Rangers theory - Daily RecordIf the current reports are correct, West Ham United manager David Moyes should be terminated tonight.

David Moyes has overseen an extremely disastrous run of form at West Ham over the last six or seven weeks, and Hammers co-owner David Sullivan is said to be actively looking for a replacement for the Scot.
West Ham have not won in eight games in all competitions, and our dreams of finishing in the top six of the Premier League table have faded.

Moyes’ football is completely unacceptable, especially given the number of top-class players he now has at his disposal.

He got away with it when the results were good, but now he has nowhere to hide. Graham Potter has been connected with replacing the Scot, and if the terrible results and performances continue, he will almost certainly be fired.

The board will not sack him before our next two games against Brentford and Everton, but at the latestDavid Moyes admits Celtic face 'elite' Champions League truth as he sides with Ally McCoist's Rangers theory - Daily Record

That’s hardly surprising, is it! The quality of players at the London Stadium currently means that Moyes has no excuse for failing to put his team on the front foot.

However, he consistently approaches games with a gloomy and almost defeatist perspective. Not good enough.

I have no doubt that Moyes will not be the Hammers’ manager at the start of next season. This kind of football is simply not sustainable; even greats like Jose Mourinho have learned this the hard way.

The problem now is that, if Steinberg’s report is correct, and certain players are doubting Moyes’ methods, the Scot should be fired tonight.
