i wish to return back to celtics

Jaden SpringerrIn their return from the All-Star break, the Celtics will face the Bulls on Thursday night with a fully healthy lineup. The organization confirmed Thursday afternoon that new trade addition Jaden Springer had been removed from the injury report after missing the previous two weeks due to a right ankle impingement.

Springer’s withdrawal follows Xavier Tillman’s clearance to play for the first time with Boston after dealing with left knee pain for several weeks. With both players available, the Celtics will have a well-rested and flexible roster for Joe Mazzulla’s road game against Chicago.

Boston returns from the break with a league-best 43-12 record, including a six-game winning streak. Tillman, who was acquired from the Grizzlies in exchange for two second-round selections and Lamar Stevens, is anticipated to serve as big man depth for Boston. Springer was acquired just minutes before the trade deadline two weeks ago for a second-round selection. He’s projected to be a bigger developmental project for Boston at only 21 years old, having been acquired from the 76ers in a surprising trade between playoff rivals.Jaden Springerr

“We’ve tracked his development pretty closely over the years,” Stevens told me. “We liked him during the draft a couple years back. He was the youngest player in the draft. He is still a puppy. He is still 21 years old. He was outstanding in the G-League playoffs last season. He’s done a lot of good against us while he was up in Maine. We have seen him live several times up there. He’s a guy we’ve been following for a while.”

The Celtics and Springer will meet the Bulls at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday at the United Center.
