The vice captain of Liverpool was present during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City at Anfield, but he is expected to miss more time due to a knee injury until after the international break. In another incident, Konaté had an injury that required him to leave the Europa League first-leg match and would later miss the match against Man City. Though he was spotted training alone yesterday, this setback is only expected to be slight, so even though he will probably miss Thursday’s match, he might still be able to play against United. Later today, during his news conference, Klopp might provide an update.

The Brazilian goalkeeper hasn’t played for the team in the last eight games; in his place, Caoimhín Kelleher has been playing incredibly well. Although Klopp has promised supporters the goalie will return before the conclusion of the season, the hamstring injury was more serious than anticipated and will require a significant amount of time to heal.

In the same match where Jones was injured against Brentford, Jota had a meniscus tear (MCL), and Klopp has revealed that he would miss months instead of weeks out of the game. But the Liverpool manager hoped he would be back for the final stretch.
