Following 48 hours of silence from Halas Hall, things are now starting to move quickly with the Bears.

Chicago has made several moves to their coaching staff, including most notably the firing of offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. But that also means head coach Matt Eberflus is expected to be retained in 2024, which means he’ll be in charge of hiring a new offensive coordinator and new defensive coordinator this offseason.

The Bears will hold a press conference Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT, where general manager Ryan Poles and Eberflus will speak, following by president Kevin Warren.

The Bears have fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy after two seasons, as first reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. Now, Eberflus will be entrusted with hiring a second offensive coordinator, one who could be tasked with working with a rookie quarterback (if Chicago opts to go in that direction).
