Bears Rookie Admits He Already Can’t Stand The Packers

CHICAGO - OCTOBER 29: A detail of the Chicago Bears logo is seen on the wall surrounding the field against the San Francisco 49ers October 29, 2006 at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears won 41-10.

The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers have a long rivalry.

In recent years, the Wisconsin side has held bragging rights over their lifelong foes, and it hasn’t particularly been close.

Nonetheless, even though the Packers continue to be a force to be reckoned with in the NFC North Division, there’s finally some hope of reverting this situation in the Windy City.

With Caleb Williams in town, a new day has arrived for the Bears.

Moreover, it seems like another Bears rookie is already ahead of schedule in terms of this rivalry.

Recently, Sky Kruse asked No. 9 pick Rome Udonze if he already hated the Packers, and the Washington product claimed that he couldn’t stand them.

The talented wide receiver jokingly said that he almost pukes himself when he sees green since he became a Bear.

Udonze could help tilt the scale in favor of his franchise.

While he was the third wide receiver taken off the board, he’s the most physical player in the position in this class, not to mention a perennial big-play threat.

The Bears have gone to great lengths to revamp their offense.

Their new core features Williams, Udonze, Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, and D’Andre Swift.

And while it might take a while before the rookies get their legs under them and get a hold of the speed of the NFL game, this has been perhaps the most exciting time to be a fan of the franchise in the 21st century, and some epic Bears-Packers battles are definitely ahead of us.
