BREAK As his out-of-contract colleague gave Dundee the finger, Kemar Roofe gives a major clue about the Rangers’ future.

During the last seven minutes of Rangers’ triumph over Dundee at Ibrox, Kemar Roofe took Fabio Silva’s place.

Since the Rangers squad’s Premiership collapse culminated in a lap of honor to forget, with the club’s ultras abandoning the stadium on the final whistle, it may be the striker’s last game at Ibrox.

Although the approaching summer vacations may have caused some melancholy, Kemar Roofe demonstrated that there is no ill will by implying in an Instagram picture that the end is near.

“Ibrox,” the forward uttered first. “It has been enjoyable. I appreciate being here.

Kemar Roofe has experienced several significant moments at Ibrox throughout the years.

Not to mention an Old Firm double in 2021 and a pivotal goal in the Europa League Final against FC Braga.

Even yet, the striker will acknowledge that his meager return of just 102 appearances and roughly 4825 minutes over four seasons—roughly 25 appearances, 1205 minutes, and 13 full 90 minutes per season—has fallen short of expectations.

With 38 goals in all for Rangers, the striker was once one of the best finishers at Ibrox this millennium, but injuries have ruined the 31-year-old’s time in Glasgow.

Situation with Rangers deal is “not good.”

While Kemar Roofe may have played his last game at Ibrox, the other players in the team who were not under contract did not have the same luck.

Due to suspension, midfielder John Lundstram was unable to play against Celtic after receiving a disputed red card.

Injuries also kept Nigerian teammate Leon Balogun and Scotland international Ryan Jack from playing.

Borna Barisic, a Croatian international, was the only other out-of-contract player chosen for the entire team; Fraser was preferred as a second-half substitute over the left-back.

Borna Barisic, who served for six years, was not given a proper send-off at Ibrox as he was seen to be somewhat upset upon starting a full-time job.

According to reports, the 31-year-old defender and Turkish team Trabzsonpor have reached an agreement.

When the final whistle blew, Rangers manager Philippe Clement was also very scathing of the club’s out-of-contract players.

“This club emerges from a financially challenging predicament,” Clement said to the media following the game.

“Having six players without contracts means they have no value to sell, which is not a good thing.

“After that, you have to decide whether or not to let them stay.”

“In the future, the team must generate additional revenue by developing or improving its players.

“By bringing in young players and developing them so you can later sell them.”

With a Scottish Cup Final matchup against Celtic at the end of May 25 and a trip to Tynecastle to play Hearts this weekend, Kemar Roofe still has two more opportunities to cap off his Rangers career on a strong note.

As Clement insists that the players use “internal fire,” the Union Bears convey an Ibrox message to the Rangers team.

Any thoughts of an emotional send-off were dashed by the Union Bears as the Rangers kicked their final ball of the season at Ibrox.

Usually, the Rangers players acknowledge the support of their family who come to the park for the season’s final game in Govan.

However, the Rangers support group swiftly left the stadium as the final siren went off, sending a strong message to Ibrox about yet another title collapse.

Though they managed to claw their way back into the Scottish Premiership, several Rangers players, in the opinion of some fans, wasted their opportunity in the last stretch.

It’s time for change now, ahead of Philippe Clement’s summer “rebuild,” and the Union Bears walkout represents the Rangers’ belief that this team is in need of significant changes.

The Rangers players’ season-long contributions may have left them feeling a little let down, but enough is enough.

Rangers supporters have been conditioned for far too long to accept a degree of mediocrity that was made acceptable by the team’s 2012 financial crisis.
