Tottenham is ‘looking at’ a deal to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi for £80,000.

According to club source Paul O’Keefe, Tottenham Hotspur is considering calling up Callum Hudson-Odoi from Nottingham Forest this summer in an attempt to bolster their roster.

The 23-year-old left winger has been one of the few shining lights for the relegation-threatened Forest team this season. In 28 games, he has scored an amazing eight goals for the team that finished in 17th position.

Hudson-Odoi is rumored to be returning to London after Tottenham insider O’Keefe confirmed the news to his 133 thousand followers on ‘X’ on Monday morning.

As previously said, Callum Hudson-Odoi has produced impressive results for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team this season. His record of goal contributions is the highest in his career, and they were a major factor in Forest’s victory over rival teams for the third straight season.

The three-time England international joined for just £5 million ahead of the 2023–24 season, making this possible move much sweeter for Forest. The Telegraph praised the Reds for their astute market action.

With his present form and two years left on his £80,000-per-week deal, Forest should be able to command more than the £23 million that his current market value is. However, Forest’s options for finding a replacement may be limited given their run-in with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Regulations.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: After moving to Tottenham from Nottingham Forest in the summer of last year, Brennan Johnson scored five goals and dished out ten assists.

In the midst of their problems with sustainability regulations and league profitability last summer, Tottenham raided Forest for Brennan Johnson. Now, it’s unclear if they’ll try to pursue Hudson-Odoi in a similar manner. Teammate Morgan Gibbs-White has called him the “perfect winger,” and he would undoubtedly suit the bill.

Wingers Both Bryan Gil and Manor Solomon, who joined from Sevilla in August 2021 and Shakhtar Donetsk last season, have fallen short of the initial expectations. Their own futures are now in jeopardy as the Tottenham coaching staff assesses the club’s dead wood.

Tottenham May Trade Up to Fifteen Players This Summer

Ange Postecoglou

Ange Postecoglou is rumored to be working on a roster revamp, while Hudson-Odoi is thought to have aroused Spurs’ attention. Although the team has just left for an Australian post-season training camp, according to O’Keefe, several players may already be their route from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham finished in fifth place this Premier League season when their play declined at the end. They had three losses in their last five games. O’Keefe reiterated via X:

“Spurs are willing to part with players like Davies, Emerson, Ndombele, Gill, Solomon, Forster, Lo Celso, Hojbjerg, Rodon, Spence, Reguilon, Sessegnon, and so on.

“If the offers are right and circumstances for the club’s requirements, then Richarlison, Bissouma, and Skipp could also leave.”

It’s already been reported that quite the reshuffle has started, with several clubs vying for Pierre-Emil Hojberg’s signature and “interest from 5 clubs abroard.” Italy, Germany, and Spain are his likely destinations for his summertime departure.”
