Who might the Rams be set to sign soon?

Although it’s unclear who Derby is focusing on, it wouldn’t be shocking if it was Adams.

His Cardiff contract expires in the summer of next year, so the Welsh team may try to fetch a respectable price to keep him from leaving for nothing in a year.

Adams has previously said that he enjoys living in the Midlands, so if a deal with Cardiff can be reached, bringing him back to Pride Park on a permanent basis should be easy.

Although there hasn’t been much discussion about many targets in this area, supporters will also hope that they are drawing closer to signing a new striker.

Derby must move quickly to prevent losing out on a goal scorer or having to pay a high transfer fee. Championship teams are always fiercely competing for top players during the summer transfer window.
