Derby County is eager to get the £11 million “Brilliant” former Celtic wonderkid, who is listed for a transfer this summer.

The former Celtic winger’s time on loan in England last season was noteworthy, but his future at his present club is still uncertain.

Karamoko Dembele scored eight goals in 39 league games while on loan at Blackpool during the previous season. This summer, he is expected to return to parent club Brest.

However, the club’s sporting director Grégory Lorenzi has informed L’Equipe that Dembele is one of the players who will be sold this summer in an effort to raise money for new acquisitions, even before his official return to Brest becomes public. The 21-year-old is still expected to have a great career, and he has already been connected to a summer transfer to Derby County, the newest team in the Championship. Dembele is qualified to play international football for Scotland.
