Rangers given £5m transfer demand for ‘fox’ who could be Philippe Clement’s striker answer

In recent weeks, Rangers’ pursuit of a new striker seems to have narrowed down to two options as Nils Koppen dedicates every working hour to trying to sign critically important talent.

Although the commotion surrounding Albertion Rrahmani was not as great, Hamza Igamane is reportedly on the verge of being announced.

The fact that Cyriel Dessers has other suitors and that Rangers are expected to be successful in their pursuit of Rrahmani could expedite the process, but only under one restriction.

The 23-year-old Kosovo international won’t allow transfer rumors deter him, and he has recently resumed preseason training, so if Philippe Clement gets his man, he will be in terrific shape:

“We want to give it our all at the training camp, and I’m ready.

“I took a short vacation, but I made the most of it.” Physically, I feel great. Neil Lennon and I got along well in our initial exchange.

We have a strong squad, thus we have high hopes for the upcoming season. I believe we can take home a trophy if we continue to have good fortune.

MORE STORIES OF RANGERS
John Bennett is trying to heal fences with the SPFL as the Rangers situation persists.
Unintentionally, Oscar Cortes has made Rangers’ pursuit of the £3.4 million objective more difficult.
“He likes Rangers a lot,” the manager says of Rangers’ lack of bid for his £1 million star, who scored 15 goals in the previous season.A playmaker who excelled at Euro 2024 might be the season’s Ibrox hero.
Fans won’t want to know who the Rangers’ undesirable competition in the chase for Rrahmani is.

“I’m still here, I want to get ready, and Rapid is my first priority. I’m not sad that I haven’t left yet because I work like a professional and always give my all in any situation.

Rapid Bucharest reportedly wanted £6.75 million for their outstanding player, but Romanian writer Emanuel Rosu exclusively told Rangers News that the real price is much less:

“Rhamani is a fox, a promising striker with a lot of skill.

“Rapid wants £5 million for him, but Rangers can have him if they pay the money.”

“He’d be a great asset to Rangers.”

He is an excellent striker who poses a threat both inside and outside the box.

“He is still at Rapid, which surprises me because several clubs are interested in him.

“He could work in Italy; I’d see him there.”

Rangers cannot repeat their summertime transfer blunders.

Albion Rrahmani, who is 6 feet 2 inches tall and can score with either his foot or his head, has become better every senior football season that he has participated in.

He is “dangerous everywhere,” as Rosu puts it.

With 25 league appearances under his belt with 17 goals and five assists, Rrahmani is a versatile number nine who can work in any kind of setup.

He is not limited to being a one-touch finisher or target man; when necessary, he can run the channels or connect play and drop deeper.

With the interest in Dessers, Rangers ought to be hoping to close a deal for £5 million.

It was Nikola Krstovic and Petr Ratkov last summer; this summer, it might be Rrahmani, a gifted young attacker with just one goal in mind.

Rangers should hopefully avoid making the same error twice.
