Since its founding in 2002, the Moi Airbase in Nairobi has been home to the KAF Golf Club, which boasts a distinguished past.
Originally, the club was intended to be a private place for military people to practice and relax while playing golf.
However, the course was made public once it was realized how passionate people were about the sport in general.
“Hosting the 12th leg of the NCBA Golf Series at the Kenya Airforce Golf Club is an honor that brings us one step closer to the grand finale,” stated John Gachora, managing director of NCBA.
“We are especially thrilled to bring this outstanding course to the series for the first time, and we anticipate seeing outstanding talent, much like what we have witnessed in past tournaments.”
“The NCBA’s dedication to promoting the game at all levels is nicely matched with this competition. Through expanding the series to additional locations, we can introduce golf to a larger audience and help Kenya’s golfing community flourish,” he continued.
