McDonald’s offers a limited-edition lunch package to capitalize on the ardent fan base of Bills Mafia.
The Bills Mafia Meal Box is McDonald’s newest invention for ardent NFL fans.
A massive twenty Chicken McNuggets, two medium fries, and two medium drinks are included in the Bills Mafia Meal Box. Additionally, the package includes two packets of Buffalo sauce, a reference to the city of Buffalo’s culinary reputation.
This limited-edition treat will only be available to “true members” of the Bills Mafia as of August 12th, as it will only be sold in upstate New York, including areas of Rochester and the Buffalo area.
In the end, all of this is really a brilliant marketing ploy by McDonald’s to capitalize on the ardent fan base of Bills Mafia, who are renowned for their loyal support and—let’s be honest—occasionally shattering tables.
But the meal box is much more than simply the food. Fans who enjoy their memorabilia with a side of fries will find it to be a collector’s item since it is decorated in the team’s iconic red and blue colors.
For those keeping score at home, McDonald’s has previously collaborated with NFL teams. The fast-food juggernaut has already partnered with the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears, demonstrating that a fan’s stomach—and team loyalty—is the path to their heart.
Though it’s currently on sale, the Bills Mafia Meal Box is a fleeting item, much like a Josh Allen touchdown pass. Fans can claim this exclusive lunch box until September 3rd.
