Golfers have even more reason to think about adding a SkyTrak to their home setup this month thanks to a new low pricing for the original SkyTrak and a £500-off discount on SkyTrak+, both of which end on Monday, July 22.
While SkyTrak’s v5.0 features a completely redesigned user interface and numerous new features, the main enhancements go far beyond new visuals.
One of the many new features is the introduction of the breathtaking SkyTrak Course Play, which allows SkyTrak to offer its own extensive collection of simulated golf courses for the first time. These courses include the well-known Pebble Beach and Quail Hollow, the site of the 2025 PGA Championship.
You can now spice up your everyday SkyTrak practice sessions with five amazing new practice ranges.
The launch monitor is getting close to its tenth anniversary, and with it comes the most significant update in SkyTrak history—v5.0. With the upgrade, SkyTrak now stands significantly apart from its competitors in the cost-effective personal launch monitor/simulator market. The original, multi-award-winning SkyTrak is presently available for a very competitive price point around £1k (RRP £995).
With a lower price of £2,495 until July 22 (regular RRP of £2,995), the upgraded SkyTrak+ boasts a number of improved performance features, such as Dual Doppler radar, club data, outdoor play, and a potent internal CPU.
As usual, both SkyTrak versions provide extensive driving range practice facilities at no cost; however, the main change in version 5.0 is the addition of a new subscription plan called SkyTrak Essential.
For an annual fee of £129.95, the Essential package now unlocks all of SkyTrak’s features, including the new Practice Ranges, a plethora of features that improve your game through Training and Feedback, and the option to upgrade your system by adding the new Course Play add-on along with more connections to third-party software like the WGT golf course simulators and E6 Golf Connect.
James Holmes, Director of Sales and Operations EMEA, stated that the Version 5.0 upgrade and the development of the Essentials package represent important turning points for the SkyTrak line.
“If you upgrade to Essentials, our new Course Play package now gives you world-class golf simulation without requiring you to leave the SkyTrak app—all with ultra-realistic ball flight characteristics developed exclusively by SkyTrak itself. They also give you more fun, more game-improvement tools, and amazing new graphics.
“By far, this is the greatest iteration of SkyTrak to yet. Current SkyTrak users only need to update their app, and all other users should visit uk.skygolf.com, SkyTrak’s UK website, to view all the information, including how to obtain the most recent add-ons, such as the Essential membership, which we strongly advise for all users.
Currently, version 5.0 is limited to PCs, but we’re working hard to release the iOS update as soon as we can.
“This is definitely the perfect time to get into SkyTrak, whether for home use or if you are a golf coach,” Holmes said in closing. If you don’t already own one. The price of the original SkyTrak is currently the lowest it has ever been; the SkyTrak+, which is currently available until July 22nd, has raised the bar for inexpensive personal launch monitors; and both models have been much enhanced by the incredible Version 5.0 software update.
