As he was being loaded into the back of an ambulance, Robb gave a thumbs up.
Several drivers were hurt in a collision toward the finish of Sunday’s Hy-Vee One Step 250 race in Iowa, including IndyCar racer Sting Ray Robb.

Robb collided with Alexander Rossi’s back during the last lap of the race, sending him flying across the track and into the air. Ed Carpenter’s vehicle took off and crashed upon Kyle Kirkwood. When Robb was hauled into an ambulance and placed on a stretcher, he gave the thumbs up.

Kirkwood told reporters what he thought of the incident and that he was alright.
“Rossi was out of fuel, I was told about it a lap earlier than that,” he stated. Very regrettable. I don’t know why he stayed online, but it seems like he was doing everything he could to keep himself safe. Why Sting Ray didn’t pass him is beyond me. It’s clear that the closing rate was high, and your reaction time starts to wane toward the end of the race. Thus, perhaps that is related in some way.”
“It was an extremely terrifying experience,” he went on. “I’ve never witnessed a car fly so high in front of me. The car slowed down so much in the direction that he actually drove that I had to slow down as well, and I spun out trying to slow down.”
Following the collision between David Malukas, Agustin Canapino, and Romain Grosjean just after the green flag dropped on Saturday’s race, this is the second accident at Iowa this weekend.
The NTT INDYCAR Series account provided an update on social networking site X, stating: “After the last-lap collision in today’s race at Iowa Speedway, Sting Ray Robb is awake, aware, and in good health. As a precaution, the No. 41 driver is being sent to a nearby hospital for additional assessment.”
Ultimately, Will Power won his 43rd NTT IndyCar series after passing Alex Palou and taking the lead for the final 43 laps.
