Man Utd names Jadon Sancho and Antony’s replacement, stating that a “mandatory sale” is required

If Manchester United can get rid of Antony and Jadon Sancho in the next two and a half weeks, they are reportedly interested in signing Raphinha.

Although the former Leeds United player is reportedly opposed to leaving Barcelona, the Catalan team is in a desperate attempt to sell for a high price before the deadline.

Barca must balance the books with their £51 million purchase of Dani Olmo, the Euro 2024 hero. Until the La Liga giants sort out their financial problems, the former star of RB Leipzig cannot be registered.

As a result of Ronald Araujo’s injury and Ansu Fati’s stock falling following a string of injuries, Raphinha has emerged as one of Barcelona’s most valuable sellable assets. Furthermore, Olmo’s arrival along with Lamine Yamal’s rise would enable Hansi Flick’s team to function without the Brazilian winger.

United has reportedly joined Saudi Pro League teams in their search for Raphinha, according to Sport. According to the article, Barcelona executives would consider a sale to be “mandatory” if a bid exceeded £51 million.

Raphinha had a successful run with Leeds in the Premier League before scoring 20 goals in two seasons at La Blaugrana. Notwithstanding the fact that Flick now has access to Olmo, Yamal, Vitor Roque, Ferran Torres, and Fati, there will be intense competition for minutes out wide in 2024–2025.

United’s efforts to get Raphinha may intensify if Antony and Sancho’s sales go well. Both of the wingers, Antony, who cost £84 million to sign, scored just once in the Premier League during the previous season, while Sancho, who cost £73 million, had a falling out with Erik ten Hag and left on loan.

Though sources suggest that United might still consider letting both of them leave if reasonable offers are made, Sancho and Ten Hag have now made amends. Amad Diallo and Marcus Rashford started on the wings in Saturday’s Community Shield loss to Manchester City.

In the second half, Diallo was replaced by Alejandro Garnacho, who is only getting better. Garnacho scored a fantastic goal. The Dutchman declared, “He did very well.” “When he arrived, everything went according to our plan. The only thing that disappoints is that we were unable to push it too far.

Ten Hag went on, “It takes a lot of work to press, compact press, and work in large areas, but it also takes time to attack.” We anticipate a lot of speed and activity at the rear. Both new players and players that can start are needed.”
